Wow, absolutely awful news. Especially at the beginning of what should have been such an exciting chapter of his life.

Thoughts with his family. I'm sure Widnes and the RL family will come together to see them right.

Dreadful news. Quite hard to take, such a young and fit athlete.

And when they found our shadows

Grouped around the TV sets

They ran down every lead

They repeated every test

They checked out all the data on their lists

And then the alien anthropologists

Admitted they were still perplexed

But on eliminating every other reason

For our sad demise

They logged the only explanation left

We are often sad at the loss of former players as they have reached an age when it isn't shocking, but to be sad about the loss of a rising star is just shocking.

Condolences to all his family and friends, a tremendous loss. Way to young.
