Chappell playing tomorrow will be good for him to get some game time, class act on his day, proven try scorer at Championship level.

the Ike southward between Whitehaven and Workington ( Haven won 30-12) Beware of Haven this year Don't bother going with a game plan they have had a dirty side for years but we fell for it and hit the self destruct button 30 mins in got into all their scraps and ended up with one lad in Newcastle RVI one sent off and 3 sin binned. In all fairness everyone can point the finger at the referee to often but for such a fixture a experienced referee was needed as the referee there Cashley completely lost the game.

Take a top 5 place for workington this year! UTT

Hopefully no more injuries after the game against the Rhinos tonight. Regarding the Cumbrian teams Worky,s recent signings will make them a big threat with the likes of Penky, Foster, Bailey, Leatherbarrow to go alongside Doran. Haven have less experience but still have big matchwinners in Dion Ayre and Jessie Joe Parker. Still think Bradford will walk it but that 2nd spot is gunna be a right race.

The way you have wrote this you seem to be saying that the reason Scott Rooke is in RVI is because haven are a dirty team. The tackle on Scott was fair and in no way dangerous it was just one of them unfortunate tackles where an injury occurs. Non of the match officials seen anything in it or the vast majority of fans both town and haven . Anyhow heres the hope that Scott recovers quickly and gets back to playing very soon

Wasn’t the rooke tackle that makes haven dirty they are in general in my opinion but that was pure accidental but the referee lost control and it was only a matter of time before something like that unfortunately happend

Haven dirty side ???? oh the irony from a team who got 3 in the bin, a man sent off and who sign Ryan Bailey

The referee was so one sided it was at least 2 sin binning for both and if bailey sin binning was a sin binning there should be 10 a match!

###### for tat mate can't control the ref but would agree he was awful. On the day I think workington was the dirty team though and Bailey is a liability same as Miller

I think you two should take your argument onto your own forum's as this is about where Hunslet fan's think they'll finish.

Think Bradford will walk it  but the 2nd spot is well up for grabs.

Injuries and DR ( York / Donny ) to have a massive say but think we will be in the mix for 2nd spot, this would be hopefully how it will pan out .

1 Bradford

2 Hunslet

3 York

4 Doncaster

5 Whitehaven

6 Oldham

7 Keighley

8 Workington

9 Gateshead

10 London

11North Wales

12 Coventry

13 West Wales

14 Hemel

Any Opinions

8 points from 8 games is not good enough Steve.

If we play to our best we are a top 5 team no doubt about it! Just need to be consistent.

We'll be in the mix, don't worry! ;) The table is somewhat warped at the minute, most of the teams above us have played 2, 3, 4 games against the bottom teams where not only have they found it easy to pick up the points, but also ramp up points difference. Our only game against the bottom four so far has been Hemel away on the opening day of the season, on a filthy day, on a pitch which looked like the cows had been put out to pasture on it over winter.

In four weeks time after 17th June, everybody will have played everybody else once, and the table will more accurately reflect the situation in the division ... let's revisit this again then.

Still stick by this, yesterday proved we can beat the best teams in this league.
