Chisora v Joyce - two flabby C-listers flailing at each other. Chisora was declared the victor, but there were no winners.

To be fair I thought Chisora gave a great account of himself without winning any points for style.

He dug deep to keep up his attack even when clearly heavily fatigued.

Joyce, the better technician on the other hand, looked again very cumbersome in defence even though he clearly had more power and a reach advantage, he just couldn’t keep Chisora off him and eventually conceded a crucial knockdown in the 9th.

Joyce needs to change up his attack. The whole blocking punches with his face isn't working.

Couple of notable undercard victories for British boxers tonight on the undercard of Fury-Usyk.

Mark Chamberlain demolished again his opponent at middleweight and Moses Itauma chinned his opponent to the deck at heavyweight.

Looking forward to seeing Joe Cordina later too before the main event.

For a 19 year old, Moses looked mature

Caught by a feckin speed camera. try these I did and it saved me a heap o money and penalty points.

He did for sure.

I liked the way he neither stood off him when he had his opponent hurt nor rushed in and crowded his own shots.

Definitely showing the poise of a good heavyweight and looks better than Wardley or Frazer.

My only question is his size - he’s slightly on the short side compared to some of the men he’ll be up against height wise in this era of giants.

Obviously could make an advantage of it like Mike Tyson did, but it’s something that could hold him back.

I listened to him on talksport before the fight, he isn't a natural speaker but not many are at 19. What I did like is his intellegence, not over selling himself but he knows where he wants to go and likened himself to a heavyweight that boxes like a middleweight....will do for me, think the kid will do alright

Haha, think we e just seen the end of Joshua though.

He’s had some great nights and fights.

But Dubois manhandled him tonight for 5 rounds.

Yeh I feel sad for AJ, but Dubois did great.

I think AJ wanted to come out and box his head off, but Dubois was just too aggressive and didn't let him. Once he caught him flush it was a case of trying to recover but he's so bad at it.

He should probably retire, but if he doesn't I'd pay to watch the rematch!

Im not sure about a rematch after such a devastating beat down like that.

Maybe had it been a one off punch or an unbelievable show by a low ranking mandatory maybe.

As it is though I don’t think the numbers will add up either - Joshua is a busted flush now at that level of fight.

I just hope Fury can beat Usyk to set up a fight with Dubois for all the titles including the lineal bragging rights.

I don't think Joshua will accept it's over yet, which could see him relegated to the general mix of fights between fairly ordinary British  heavyweights whose big chances are behind them.

I can’t see him accepting a role as a stepping stone fighter for others having made so much money.

He wouldn’t sell Wembley again for a big fight and it would be a big comedown to be reduced to fighting the likes Moses Itouma or a Wardley or a Clarke at an arena or on an undercard.

Retirement is the logical next step for Joshua given his net worth and the fact he’s already been world champion.

I know boxers sometimes get lured back for a payday but does he really need one?

That was a beat down , I’m pleased for Dubois . Even in defeat Joshua managed to sound somewhat arrogant I think , he’s been built up so much maybe he struggles with the reality of where he’s at now

I hope Usyk gets the double over Fury like he did with AJ.

Some fighters can get sparked out and it not scare them. Look at say Fury in the Wilder rematch, even though he'd been rendered unconscious, he came out without fear of what he could do.

AJ clearly isn't like that as evidenced by the last few years.

I can see him trying again against Dubois but whether it'll a good idea is another thing. If he can convince himself that he just got the approach wrong he might go for redemption. The fact that he seriously hurt him in round 5 might be enough to cling on to.

It had shades of Haye-Bellew for me, although Haye was way more past it, and I suspect that the rematch would be the same. There is a recent example where a fighter flipped the outcome in a fight like this: Chris Eubank Jnr.

Legacy wise, even if he did beat Dubois in a rematch, he will always now have the reputation of being chinny. The first Ruiz fight could've been a fluke equilibrium incident but now there's no doubt. He's only a step up from Khan at this point.

Look he took an absolute beating over 5 rounds.

Down again and again and again.

I think he’s realistically out of many  big fight options.

Hearn was saying to Sky today that he was going to wait until the outcome of the Fury vs Usyk in December.

He himself was saying Joshua would probably have two more fights at most.

If Fury loses to Usyk then I fail to see a ‘battle of the has-beens’ selling out Wembley by itself at this point.

Joshua has to pray that Fury wins I feel and hope to make that fight in 2025 with a smaller tune up fight in between.

He wasn't in the fight after first overhand hit landed. He'll be telling himself he'd have been all right if he hadn't let that one through and he'll cling to that.

Sportsmen and women are good at lying to themselves and boxers are among the worst. How many world champions retired when they really should?

Agreed although Joshua doesn’t need the money and the prestige is gone now.

It is gone....although if he can just beat Dubois in the rematch and then Fury then he'll go down in history with one of the greatest comebacks ever!

Also, there's an embarrassment factor with losing in that way to Dubois that could eat at him.

I think the rematch would be a mistake, likely end quicker than this one and suspect Dubois might just be all kinds of wrong for him. But would I be interested in it?

Of course I would.

Wardley demolishes Frazer inside a round tonight.

Like Dubois he’s not got the usual big amateur background yet isn’t far away from a world title fight now.

Beterbiev vs Bivol up next for all the Light Heavyweight belts.

A real shock and very disappointing. I only got the PPV because I saw that fight and the last one was a classic. Hard to argue with his power, but I didn't like the way he caught him after he'd been turned round.

Hopefully, the big fight lives up to the hype.

Either way, it hasn't cost me anything because I made a deal that if I won my GF bet I'd get the PPV!
