GREETLAND ALL ROUNDERS RECEIVE £50K FUNDING BOOST

Recommended Posts

Greetland All Rounders are today celebrating a £50,000 funding boost from SUEZ Communities Trust.

Funding will allow the club to refurbish and re-roof their existing changing facilities, originally built by club members in 1981.

Barry Dyson, the club's President who is leading the project said: "this is a great boost for our club.

"We are a community Rugby League club based at our own grounds at Spring Rock, Greetland, Halifax.

"We are enjoying a growth in membership and our aim is to always improve and provide good facilities for all ages, both males and females at adult and junior levels."

Marek Gordon, Chairman of SUEZ Communities Trust, added: "SUEZ Communities Trust provides funding awards through the Landfill Communities Fund.

"This important source of funding has been available since 1997 and has provided such worthy projects with more than £1.4 billion.

"We were delighted to be able to offer funding to Greetland All Rounders."
