If that’s correct then he wasn’t going to be ready for this game. Not a fan of dr but maybe just as well we had something to fall back on or we would have been going with an 18 man squad with 9 of our 27 appearing to be unavailable for this game. I know I'll get shot down for this as a lot of you like Newts but its fair to say I'm still not convinced. i think we are a far better team when Penky is on the pitch, but if it is true it's the perfect opportunity for Newts to win us doubters over. Penkywicz is class for sure but I've no problem with Newton spelling him. I've certainly warmed to him; hes gutsy, aggressive and persistent. Have no problem with Newton but Penky gives us something different .I know Teams don`t like to give too much away but it would be nice if the Club could give us an injury update to stop rumours flying about . Yep I’m going to have to shoot you down. Them games when penky was missing newts played 80 minutes and was immense.
