Waterstones on Saturday

Recommended Posts

Anyone looking for a novel that is set against a Rugby League background that also covers work, family life, old friends  and Yorkshire/Lancashire industrial humour, meet me in Waterstones this coming Saturday (April 21st) from 11 onwards. I will be in there signing copies of my fifth novel which is called "Two Seasons" and is set during 2002 and 2003.

Among the chapter titles are included: An evening in Bailiff Bridge, A day on the M62, A day out in Wigan, The good Yorkshireman,  The sermon on Mount Pleasant, Listening to Eddie and Stevo, A Tale from Knowsley Road, Hazel says "No" to Bush and Blair, "Will you be our Auntie Thelma", A Swedish affair, E Mails from Amsterdam, The spoilt papers might win it, and Martindale's Chip Shop!

www.geofflee.net for news of my novels, One Winter, One Spring, One Summer, One Autumn and Two Seasons. All are written against a strong Rugby League background, set in South Lancashire and inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
