Hornets have beaten The Rams 27 - 32 thanks to a last minute try by Dec Kay and the sure foot of Whittiker. Well done to all.

Great result, especially after the disappointments of recent weeks (seems years!) and well done to all. Hopefully, this win will help instil confidence into the whole squad,  the importance of playing in the Hornets shirt and bring a big deserved smile to faithful fans.  Also the importance of a good kicker.  A good weekend for the town - let's ensure both teams are in the higher division.

9 Players 21 and under ,they were great.Hope they get picked on Saturday. Tyler Whitaker a gem and  every one really. Top marks all round.

Great result yesterday, a hard fraught win and hopefully a catalyst for some better performances over the next month.

We where the better team yesterday and deserved the 2 points, some really gutsy performances from a lot of young players and without the big name players. Proves this game is about guts and heart not all about skill and where you come form.

So true,no team ever won a game of Rugby League with a half arsed performance. Putting their bodies on the line for their mates and team is what the game is all about. Nobody can criticise a team who play to the last minute,win or lose.
