Klein was born in NSW and spent his youth in England starting his refereeing of the professional game on a high point taking charge of a Featherstone Rovers game! As has happened before them the same two refs got all three Origin games this series. Aussie refs seem to get the top games. Sutton has reffed in game(s) where Australia have played.
