Seems strange in the midst of an injury 'crisis' but best of luck to him, gave 100% every time he played. Steve Neale just posted this - Sorry we didn't keep you updated on the Karl Ashall situation. Karl was becoming increasingly frustrated at his lack of game time and requested a move. He has obviously been down the pecking order this season and probably the only position we haven't picked up a raft of injuries is hooker. We agreed to release Karl before the transfer deadline which is 27th July in order that he can again start to enjoy his rugby. He goes with our best wishes.
