Heard if haven about next year Jamie Doran, Tom Curwen and Brett Phillips all set to move to the Rec.

Bit early for rumours yet. I’m sure Leon will know who he wants to keep. Of those 3, one isn’t our player and one is on a two year contract.

Well done today boys a good win. Utt

You talk some tripe, someone might have possibly fell for it if it wasn’t the fact that Tom is on a 2 year deal. But let’s not let facts get in the way of a good lie. And how are haven going to afford these signing on fees etc? Yous can barely afford to scrape to the end of this season. Town will have considerably more cash to splash again than haven next year.

Heard off same guy who said Newton was out for the season . That’s always a good way just to throw things around and cause a bit of bother

Sammuts been on London's bench last few games so May be that's why there planning for without him. We can only pray.

I don’t think you need to pray marra, he’s got a job up here, and unless haven have had a scratch card win, them and barrow wouldn’t be able to afford to bring him in.

Wait and see about what? Toms on a 2 year deal. Nothing to wait and see with that one

It mentions in the N&S that as long as the paperwork was started on Friday that players could be signed up to today. Maybe the squad isn't finished for this season.....

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Probably without hitting your straps too and only in 3rd gear.  Injuries and tough fixtures gonna catch up with you in next few weeks marra. Good win though as newcastle are one of the best sides in the league?

I've posted on here before praising havens team spirit but they played at home today against a team 9th in the table and nearly a full strength team. Spirit shouldn't have come into it FGS. Winning was a given surely.

Having been down to wales yesterday nothing but praise for the lads the welsh came steaming out the blocks and it was one of those are we going to give 10pts away before we switch on moments. Luckily that was not the case and we hit back and looked to dominate after that, however as a beautiful cross field kick from Forber land to Rooke to go over all seemed well and the referee award the try and it came out across the tannoy system only to then be ruled out by the linesman 60 yards away for offside at on the kick. Which in all honesty baffled many people as the linesman 2 meters away seen absolutely no reason to not give the try.. they then score from a forward pass that was as clear as the nose on your face.. overall a good performance with plenty to build on.. Penky 2 tries in 3 minuets was ultimately the difference maker as the plucky welsh side fell away after that..

Totally agree just hope we can stay injury free in the next 2 games and get Caine back for the run in of harder games to come.

Indeed . Can’t be far off , great watching him play and thinking what he’s gonna develop into
