Sheffield Eagles are thrilled to announce the signing of Featherstone Rovers scrum-half Anthony Thackeray on a two-year deal.

The acquisition of Thackeray is a big statement from the Eagles as they look to climb the league table after a flat first year back in the Steel City.

“There was a bit of interest (elsewhere) but just from the conversations I had with Mark, I knew I wanted to play for the Eagles.”
