Not one mention of Canadians playing rugby league in that article.

You cannot fault Toronto’s marketing and success hitherto but come back when the Wolfpack produces its first Torontonian to play in Super League before it can even dream to be called a heartland.

Yes.

It is outrageous they did not address you specifically and are not treating sport in the way they should.  After all, it is the 1950's apparently.

Good luck to them.

Next year will be a challenge though, but I think one that might capture the imagination of mainstream sports journalists in the U.K.

It’d be great if the Wolfpack could actually win something.

Ahhemm...we've won league leaders two years running in two separate leagues and won promotion once and are at the doorsteps of doing it again. We have two very shinny serving trays and a mini trophy so far.

No surprises there.

notice the massive difference in his approach to running a club to let's say maybe a certain ex Salford owner or the PVC king from Leigh? owners are to stay in the background. I think we now know why Perez isn't in all the interviews anymore, players and coaches are the faces of the team...and not one drunken twitter tirade from Argyle that i have seen either.

crazy what a well run organization actually does eh?

An "accusation" was made on here a year or 2 back that Toronto are probably a front for organized crime money-laundering...

Much more reasonable explanation than this mumbo jumbo. What's next the moon?
