John Drake Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 Occasionally, we find some people overseas get restricted access due to their ISP giving them an IP address that we have previously barred due to it being used by spammers. The forum system blocks 'bad' IPs permanently, but the ISPs recycle them after a certain length of time which results in 'good' users being lumbered with 'bad' IP addresses. If anyone finds this is a problem for them, Google 'What's my IP' and tell me the address that's shown. I can then check it against our block list and remove it, if it is now back in general use. .
