It's amazing how finishing 5th and that extra 50k can make a difference For your benefit, leaving or at least OOC are Hirst, Baldwinson, Finn, Mason Caton Brown (whom we got a fee for). Combine that lot plus the bit extra and you get Kopczac, King and Reynolds - pretty basic math imo. None are exactly world beaters but all are upgrades on what had before - basic team building. It was an extra 25K for 5th over 6th, so we got the same amount as 2017. Also Hirst is contracted for next year. So could Wakefield, London and Hull KR. We could do with him even more. If Craig goes to Wakefield, we could definitely do with Keegan Hirst. In this modern age there is plenty of footage out there of virtually every SL player. I’ve been watching him for most of the season because I knew we were interested and I have seen no sighn of ‘wear or tear,. I'm not convinced by the argument that this is to pay for JH or any other player. There are many possible reasons, one such doing the rounds is that there has been a rift with IW. He will be great for the first season, I would loved for him to stay. There will be more injuries and longer time out.
