Is this the first match at Morton for Ireland? Also the proposed venue for the League 1 Dublin side.

I think so yes. They were in Bray for the last few years which is a much better location and before that in Tallaght.

I'm away this weekend but will hopefully attend the France game next weekend.

Can’t see the game listed on the BBC Sport website anymore.

Aye, seems to have vanished.

There is a YouTube link:

Found very few updates from both teams' social media.

Social media coverage was terrible. Not sure how Ireland or Scotland hope to grow the game when there's a media blackout on match day.

Brilliant result for Ireland though, very pleased for the lads

Does anybody know how many of the Irish and Scottish players were actually born in the country they were playing for?.

For me the only way the game will grow in Ireland, Scotland and Wales is by using locally born players when ever possible.

If every nation was using locally born players I'd agree, but they're not. Winning matches and/or being competitive makes a big difference.

Well done to Ireland. Looks like that game against Wales in a fortnight could decide things.

AFAIK 7 of the Irish 19 and 6 of the Scottish 19 are born-and-bred.

Meaning born in the country rather than both parents origin I take it?
