boro hornet
Keep reading about other championship clubs making signings with the help of supporters groups. Maybe its time for RochdaleHornets fans to come together and begin to raise money for the good of the club whilst still having control over what its used for. Could be some sort of squad builder regular donations or £50 from 100 fans to start it of. We as fans need to start fund raising if we are to keep up with other clubs and help give us the best chance of success. Maybe a supporters group or association independent but working with the club. What do others think? Any ideas? Would people be up for it? Success does not consists in never making blunders, but in never making the same one the second time. https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/rochdalehornets/

That is club membership and is down to members. We need to find otherways of raising funds for our club. This is about us as fans doing something to help. Any suggestions to how we can do this are welcome. moorside roughyed
At Oldham we have "ORSA" Oldham rugby support association I think it means. This runs independent of the club but chips in with some of the costs involved with running a club. It does help. At the end of the day there just isn't enough people watching their local team at lower end of the championship and league 1 to make the club's completely self sufficient. I think they have section on the roughyeds website if you'd like some ideas. I know we're rivals but we also all want our clubs to be as secure financially as possible. The Collector
Regarding helping the club financially, one of the most effective way is to buy your season ticket now. It effectively does 2 things. 1 It helps the clubs finances when there is no steady income 2 You benefit with reduced entry to all home games. It’s a no brainier!!! Sponsorship of both players and every home game is also a great source of revenue. So come on, dig deep now to help our beloved Hornets.
ornit4ever
There is also the weekly buzz line, buying half time draw tickets, plus purchasing merchandise from the club shop etc. RUGBY LEAGUE WITHOUT ROCHDALE HORNETS IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL, THERES NO POINT? Little Lion Man
At Swinton we set up the Pride Builder fund. Cash is raised by supporters monthly standing orders ( no minimum) it forms a steady stream of income for the club (monthly) and the club is restricted to using it for players wages. The idea was a reaction to performances and to allow the supporters to have a direct influence on the pitch and their contribution to be visible (not sucked into any black holes elsewhere). Seems quite popular and whilst last year had limited impact I understand it is growing and it will allow us to compete for players in the market. I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of decadence."Be mindful of the prayers you send,Pray hard but pray with care,For the tears that you are crying now,Are just your answered prayers"

glemiln
Quote We’ve registered with easyfundraising and we need your help! Done. Everything helps the cause - especially towards helping us stay in Championship, but on a sound footing. Looking at the way that some clubs are spending for 2019, Hemel gone, Leigh's situation and now Keighley struggling big time - the number of C/L1 clubs remaining at the season's start could be even smaller! Hornets Law
Think that the new group are trying to get fans to sign up for a supporters away coach and commit to at least 6 games in advance. This is a great step towards increasing away fan support and funds. Flyer should be official club pub and help raise some funds
