They'll be blaming the russians next ?

Russia Today and Sputnik news are taking a keen interest.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Spiked ("Never knowingly not on Putin's side") are big fans too.

Seems a bit like how the Occupy movement started (or seemed to start) as a general and much needed blast against the richest of the rich and then became the sort of thing Giles Fraser could join ...

Always thought it was a rich country.Doesnt seem so, lots and lots of people with nothing.

Just as in the UK, the population of the capital is fairly well off, but the masses in the countryside are still peasants who have to do a school run with their children, maybe 30-40 minutes, so if the fuel tax is increased by another 15-20%, who is going to be worse off? The bourgeoisie who do a 10 min school run in Paris, before their 40k Euro job, of the Farmers, having their schools closed down in smaller villages, and having their subsidies cut, again, by a government who is again pandering to the elite in Paris? Sounds Familiar Brexiteers?

You gotta get out of this Karl Marx mindset...his theories are very old and outdated, were problematic to begin with, and have little (if any) credence in the modern world.  Those people in the streets that I see on TV are not farmers.   Its not always the fault of someone else....the worlds climate is changing and action must be taken....the days of cheap energy are over.

I bet the shareholders are still getting the same % of profits

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Of course they are...possibly an increase.  The shares are sold on the open market and available for purchase.

Current exchange rates say C$1 = $0.76US, petrol is about £1,25/Litre, which = $1.65US, so yes, the days of cheap fuel have been over for a long time in Europe, while in Northern America, you still justify cheap fuel prices to murder the planet.

Yep and I'm sure every French man and woman can afford to purchase the odd one or two and but bread on the table.
