Bal Numapo, the PNG RL international, who scored one of the winning drop goals in PNG's 20-18 win over GB in 1990, passed away yesterday.

A fine player, who I enjoyed watching on the few occasions I had the chance.

Me too.

FB_IMG_1583420624012.jpg.3111af94aa3ce37bf7b3d10dcadad393.jpgJeff Hattersley.... my old next door neighbour.

Jeff was the last of the generation that brought us up. This gang of us all born around 1960, over the years our parents have left us. Jeff was the last and so the old guard baton is finally passed to us lot.

I found it quite sad.
