Not been a good year for Goodfellas actors. Hope de Niro and Pesci are being careful.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

RIP Bernard Cribbins legend

I realise none of us are getting out of this alive, and accept I'm an age where people that entertained us when I was a nip are now leaving us.

But Bernard always came across as a gentle lovely fella. As you say Dave, a legend.

A fabulous contribution to his business. I will remember him with fondness.

He died on the 4th July.

Did you get the news via a message in a bottle?

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Seems to be confirmed.

By the way you never saw their lips touch on screen.

That was my first ever final at Wembley but sadly i don’t remember Cribbins singing. Was he a RL fan coming from Oldham, or was he a Parkinson type who used to love his free tickets for big events.

I only just read about this at the weekend.

I used to watch his performance as Robinson Crusoe with my mother in the 70s, when I was off school after an operation.

It was very comforting and a happy memory.

Sad he has died.
