timtum Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I've just heard that Steve "Bear" Hall has died. A lovely man who did so much for RL and for Indigenous Australians. https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2019/03/02/nswrl-steve-bear-hall-loses-cancer-battle/

Gerrumonside ref Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I think like many my first experience of the Prodigy was hearing Charlie (on a mixtape that had been smuggled out of Wigan Pier). There was nothing too groundbreaking about it I guess except a sample from a public safety film that we were all familiar with. But then came the constant churn of top tunes and albums that spoke of the talent within the Prodigy. I even remember us as lads trying to study Keith and Leroy’s dance moves - I think it’s first time any of us had ever tried to do that ahead of a big night out. Thanks for all the great times, Keith. 3

Bedford Roughyed Posted March 4, 2019 Author Posted March 4, 2019 RIP Luke Perry With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Griff9of13 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I wasn't the greatest fan of his music (a bit too old possibly) but there seems a lot of genuine affection for him out there. He also seemed to be a genuinely nice bloke. So sad that he thought it necessary to take his own life. 2 "it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it."

Futtocks Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Jacques Loussier (26 October 1934 – 5 March 2019), French jazz pianist and composer.
