The age old cliché in their that Rugby League players don’t feign injury, yet we’ve brought in shot clocks as a prevention to such acts of unsportsmanship conduct. 

That line is up there with the “fans of all colours sitting together and getting on, you wouldn’t get this in Football” rubbish that gets spewed after Cup Finals and Magic Weekends when in fact most RL supporters follow Football and both events mentioned usually have crowd trouble.

You have to feel for the players. For too long its been lions led by donkeys. The signs so far are good that Super League is doing a much better fist of it than the RFL. Not difficult I know.

Pleased to see this story was picked up by the London wide free newspaper, the Metro. Stories about RL are as rare as hens teeth in London so well done!

Great news Essex.

Hope the Metro give their support to the Broncos this season.

Just wish that London had splashed out on an antopodean marquee signing to give their season a boost.

With 11th spot a guarantee of SL in 2020 I think this would have been very worthwhile.
