Hopping Mad
Mmm. Maybe Batley (Bulldogs) have requested the postponement owing to the state of the Mount Pleasant pitch. Tomorrow's forecast is heavy rain all day. EDIT: Hensingham have tweeted the MP pitch is unplayable. Must be bad!!

neutralfan
Respect to Hunslet Parkside and Leigh Miners yesterday providing a good game in heavy rain which got worse as the game went on. Very little dropped ball to say the ball must have been like a bar of soap! £2 in and a programme . Tries from Miles,Bradley and Stubley in the first half all converted gave Hunslet the game ending up 18 -0.Ref blew up a bit early but Miners never stopped trying. Great atmosphere back in the club after as well with Leigh players/fans. The only downside is the pitch is now a muddy mess - hopefully if no games are played on it for the next two weeks and a bit of decent weather it can recover.
