Why? He is a Rooster until he leaves, they are paying him after all.

I suppose if a player can set their mind to make it a simple as that then its fine

It's not like it is a high stakes game either, I would hope players are professional enough now for this kind of thing not to affect them

It's not like Young has been there 10 years, players are paid to turn out, fans pay to watch them.

so your saying players should have no allegiance to clubs or fans whatsoever- they are just soul less paid robots?

I didn't say that in the slightest, he's been there less than a year, in a year where he was dropped.

Like I said "It's not like Young has been there 10 years"

I am sure he'll like to perform in the game to show the Roosters that they're making a mistake by letting him move on.

Young played well in his last game for the roosters today, was one of their better players for most of the game

KPP looked more active with his fellow Brit playing next to him, but seemed to go off late on but it wasn't mentioned why so not sure if he picked up an injury or not.

Hastings looked decent in his first game in awhile, I thought Newcastle's attack was more fluid with him running it, even though the attack was mostly ineffective as it has been all season for Newcastle.

Another try for Herbie, although it was handed to him on a plate in order to keep his record going. Scored in 8 consecutive matches now.

Guess who's in the starting line-up for Newcastle on Sunday?

Is it the Welshman, Tyson Frizell?

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Dodd starting at 6 too.

Tough ask against Munster and Hughes but he’s been waiting for this chance has to perform now.

Naming a halfback to start then dropping him mid week is something I haven't heard of before. Bennett has truly lost the plot, age is catching up with the fella.

Personally just don’t think Dodd has done anything to prove he’s NRL level. Not like he’s destroying cup

hope he can improve

It could be a blessing as Dodd is not a stand-off. He should be in the #7 jumper.

Really poor treatment from Bennett.
