Never said it would be easy, you seem very good at putting over excuses, are you on the BARLA board ?

On second thoughts don't do anything, let this sorry excuse for a once great comp continue to wither away into obscurity,I'm sure BARLA will be happy when the dog & duck beat the plough mans arms in the final in a few years time,as long as they are Yorkshire pubs.

No I'm not on any board and the National cup has actually attracted a few more teams this year, and it's an open cup for all and teams like the Dog and Duck have done well in the past and who knows, they'll probably get invited to join the NCL

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Semi-finals Upton .v. Thatto Heath Crusaders & Walney Central .v. West Hull.

I'll go for Thatto v West Hull, Upton have IMO played well above themselves in the Yorkshire & National cups this season.

Won by a  Thatto second team while their firsts play in the cup on the bbc, shameful that a once great competition is now 2 seconds in a final

Would have been a great day for the 34 players who took part in the BARLA Cup final.
