Are Bootham Crescent's changing rooms capable of accommodating four rugby league teams? Might the March 22 double header be in peril?

If it is it's an absolute disgrace. The club pull out all the stops to get a major event like this to the stadium, including it being on Sky Sports, which will raise the national (and international!) profile of both the club and city and the stadium isn't ready. Almost 1 year overdue on what was supposed to take 16 months to build? It's embarrassing. Who's in charge of it all and what have the delays cost the club now?

Are there things in place to compensate the club? We've already missed out on the Bradford game at the new stadium which could have been a full house due to the novelty factor and the number of fans Bradford bring, now it's looking unlikely that the London match will be there either. That's potentially 15k spectators lost over just those 3 games if we lose the double header, hundred of thousands of £££ lost through gate money alone!

Proper cheesed off now.

What a shambles this has turned into,we have already been made to play our first game at BC on Sunday and sounds like the Stadium is not going be ready till April and the Knights can't play at the new Stadium till York City have played there first game at the Stadium, meaning we might have to stay at BC till next season (according to Radio York). How can the Knights plan for this season if nobody knows when the stadium will open, and how much money are the Knights losing by playing at BC?

I have no faith whatsoever in what we are being told. For months now we have approached deadline after deadline only to be told each time that there will be a delay. Surely to God these people can work out what is still left to do, what resource that will take and how long it will be. It’s not rocket science. Clearly the build is still ongoing meaning that the job is a lot bigger than they thought (Why???) or they have not put enough resource into it (Why???). Not the case with the shops and cinema as they are all open and doing very nicely thank you. As Simon says, this is probably costing the club a small fortune. I can only think that there is no one pressing them to get it done (Why???)

Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy. 🍺🏉

I can't vote in the UK unfortunately and that is all politicians care about..but YCK  and YCFC must be crawling all over them surely??

weren't you hoping you'd finish the season 2019 at LNER??  What exactly is "un-finished"??

Passed by the stadium yesterday and that all the work is been done is behind the side stand on the left, don't if that is holding everything up?

I remember being in Athens on business in 2004 just before the Olympics and thinking "no way will they be ready" and the entire city turned out to ensure things were indeed ready..hope those responsible realise this is one of those moments what with the RLWC coming up..
