Big signing for Catalans

2 of Wigan’s 9 non English born players were poached from Catalans. You can’t sign their academy products and then complain they don’t play for Catalans.

The Kasiano signing will mean Catalans will be challenging for honours with St Helens and Warrington. A 3 horse race this year.

Not a chance. It’s their three quarters which are not good enough and will hold them back

As a Fan sadly I have to agree. I like Yaha alot however he is not a top winger. He's defense is average at best overall when you consider positioning. Long term he may make a better second row as does have strength and can finish well.

Broughton unfortunately is injured alot.

At Centre, there isn't a out and out centre who is ideal at the role ala Watkins.

The whole back line is okay but lacks balance. Two very good full backs. Tomkins and Gigot. 1 good full back Mead. The centres are more make shift and there isn't a star All out HB.

This is bad. The only player that is going to miss out is a French forward. Year after year these players come into the team and do not need to prove themselves for a first team position. You had Whitley come in this year and displace someone like Romano who should at least had first crack in the starting team. You have players like Lucas Albert who needs 8 players to get injured including forwards to get a chance in the halves.

Catalans won the Challenge Cup last year, since then they have added internationals Sam Tomkins and Kasiano.

Indeed , but if you’re focusing on SL they haven’t proven the consistency or ability to win enough on these shores to challenge. They are a frustrating side , a bit Jekyll and Hide and I’ll believe in them when they exorcise that . Kasiano really isn’t that much of a game changer , honestly . The Cup is a one off target many clubs can aim for

Doesn't scan quite as well...

If you sing it to the same tune as 'you're not singing anymore' it works perfectly.

"Qui a mangé toutes les tartes?

Qui a mangé...

Qui a mangé

Qui a mangé toutes les tartes?"

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

It’s like The Beach Boys. Les Garçons de la Plage sounds twee.

On the other hand, les Singes de L’ Arctique has a good ring for t’Arctic Monkeys.

Interesting signing - could go either way.  He has looked past his best for a while but Craig Bellamy obviously thought he still had something and he isn't a bad judge of player

He certainly won't be as bad as Mason who was appalling

Looking forward to seeing him play and really hope he is up for it
