That was the worst news of last weekend for me and I was surprised it wasn't closer v N Wales.

Strange game today. I would say we were in control without actually dominating the game. Blew three or four chances in the first half when we actually played really well but then took all of our chances in the second half when we were nowhere near as good. Defence was very good with the only try coming from a kick.

Kershaw was fantastic and full deserved his MOM award. Started the season slowly but has been getting better and better and was super today. Brook and Hawkyard were quality as well with McComb scoring his customary try. Owen was a lot better today and his first stint in particular was excellent.

Was a bit disappointed in London as they normally play with great intensity and throw the ball about but aside from a few individuals they didn't throw too much at us.

Community Day 'a huge success'

THE club described its big Community Day as a roaring success.

It attracted the best crowd for a Skolars game since the first year at what was then called Whitebank, 2010, and more than 50 young people signed up for Roary’s Pride at the launch of the new members’ club for junior supporters.
