Simon Hall
I saw something the other day where it said there was about 85 SL players in total out injured at the moment. Ridiculous that, wonder how much effect the reduced substitutions is having on injuries? http://www.alldesignandprint.co.uk Printing & Graphic Design with Nationwide Service Programmes | Leaflets | Cards | Banners & Flags | Letterheads | Tickets | Magazines | Folders | Brand Identity plus much more Official Matchday Programme Print & Design Partner to York City Knights, Heworth ARLFC, York Acorn RLFC & Hunslet RLFC Official Player Sponsor of Marcus Stock for the 2020 Season
davet
There seems to be more and more players getting injured before the season starts these days. Have training regimes changed so much over the recent years that players are doing too much in pre-season and thus having a knock on effect in the early rounds?? Think Mr Ford will let the player know they were poor yesterday, hopefully we may have one or two back from injuries to strengthen the squad. As we saw at the final whistle John the players knew they had played cr#p for an hour, Connor stormed straight down the tunnel without coming to the fans, unusual to say the least. As for Brining, he had said in the Press that this performance was going to be for the fans, guess his mates never saw that. And poor frustrated Fordy might just have some bruised feet today as he spent some of the second half kicking the tackle bags in disgust. On holiday AGAIN next week so have a lovely time in Blackpool, lets hope the lads can get their mojo back.

Peter G.
Did anyone read the Coventry write up re their good win over Worky? Sounds like Aussie half back Nick Newman played a blinder scoring 21 points and creating others. As a bonus he kicks goals too. One for the future maybe, like next week or two!!! Nearenough
Interesting, id prefer us to be signing players rather than loaning em after the rawsthorn situation but owts better than nowt!
HaxbyKnight
Difficult decision re loans or signings in my opinion. Our priority at the minute is to cover injuries so a loan makes more sense, and doesn't eat into the budget as much. It does say in the press there is an outside chance of Horne and Southernwood being available for this weekend, and with a couple of others 'not far off', things could look brighter in a couple of weeks.
