Well that settles it surely?

100% confident now yes?

You really think Maumalo, Fusitua and RTS can't score 3 tries in 12 minutes?

That was a very good performance. Our defence has finally got some grunt. Even Kata was being stopped in his tracks out wide. Low error count. Farah playing well, Brooks running at the line, Packer doing a lot of work, Aloiai is good, Mikaele is very good for a 2-game veteran.

Happy but I'll reserve judgement until we play the Storm or Broncos.

The Warriors are the textbook hot and cold team. Biggest winning margin in round 1 and now biggest losing margin in round 2.

Wests have started the year well and Farrah is on fire.

The Warriors error rate today killed them. I guess some of that was due to Wests' defence but 15 errors on top of conceding 8 penalties to 4 left them with only 41% possession. One of the best things for me about Wests was how they shared the work around. 9 players made more than 25 tackles and 8 players ran over 100m.

Next week Wests play the Dogs and Warriors play Manly in Christchurch so we should have a clearer picture. Wests should be aiming to nil the Dogs (even if they only win 6-0) and the NZers should be able to beat Manly by at least 15.
