Oh no, other fans think were embarrassing because a bloke rings a cowbell.....get a grip. You think they don`t do this in other sports? Oh and find some commas and full stops.

I don't know about that but what I do know is that the title of this thread is an embarrassment to our education system.

Did you use a cowbell to type that?

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Go easy guys, Arthur is just trying to his point across disagree with him if you must but don't insult him, on the evidence of what he wrote perhaps writing is not one of his better skills, but he may be far more adept at doing other things than some of you.

I think it's a bit naff but it's pretty low down the list of things I'd get worked up about.

Almost as bad as a team's fans calling themselves the 'Green Army' because the team plays in green.

Do you talk the same as you write ?? The Cowbell is annoying but not the end of the world, worse things happen in sport.

Not really no, they're trying to increase their away following.  It's positive. Stop trying to turn it into a negative, typical RL fan.

I agree with this. I'm not a big fan of the cowbell but as a gimmick to build a bit of an away following around I think it could be quite good.

And at London you can move around the ground so I can stand in the opposite corner if I need to!

I’m not even a Huddersfield fan but I like the cowbell and the fact that it annoys other fans, makes me like it even more (perhaps that’s the sadistic side of me). Good on them I say ???, stick 2 fingers up to the haters

That is a fantastic post. Well said, Harry.

I would add that it doesn't even matter if a person doesn't have any other skills - there is still no reason to be unkind about what they do.

I would say that time will tell whether the club and the majority of fans are happy to adopt the nickname. If they're not, then it will just be a temporary thing that will soon fade away.

If it's something that the club and the fans choose to embrace, it might become more of a permanent thing.

Is there a particular connection between Huddersfield and cows?

To be fair, cowbell army isn't that bad when you look at some sports club nicknames, just picking ones from football clubs off the top of my head there is, baggies, chair boys, Monkey hangers, tractor boys, shrimpers, cod army, Imps, many many other daft ones and I think there is even mushrooms but I can't remember who that is, and don't even get me started on cottagers.
