The pantomime at Wigan continues as the Shaun Edwards debacle turns to embarrassment. Canada links arms with New York as the game strives to expand. Joining host Matt Shaw on Rugby League Back Chat this week (Thurs 28 Mar, 3.30pm) to discuss all this and more are two of the game’s great young coaching talents, James Ford (York City Knights) and Lee Greenwood (Dewsbury Rams) along with the not so young - but still talented - Phil Caplan.

Rugby League Back Chat is broadcast weekly on Freesports TV.

Check the Freesports website for schedule and details on how to receive the channel.

Back Chat will also be available on YouTube and via TotalRL.com from 9.30am each Saturday following its original TV broadcast.

Caught and enjoyed the second half on Freesports this afternoon.  A really useful and calming antidote to all things Brexit.

"Great to see the two young coaches getting a gig."  Yes, they were really interesting

One question, though. How does Matt Shaw get time off from revising for his A levels?????

Interesting viewpoints on show.Caplan a champion of the international game disappointed that England have no game this year, whereas both coaches not wanting their players playing anymore extra  games.

On expansion ,Caplan made an excellent  point of what is the plan of the RFL with expansion to New York and Ottawa. What league will they enter?  Reading between the lines and although not mentioning  it  Caplan wouId like to see licencing  that asks the question how many teams in the league?

Mattthew Shaw an impressive host.

Hopefully ,Ford and Greenwood will fufil their coaching abilities they will if they can walk like they talk.

Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Refreshingly invigorating.

The best rugby league discussion of the year,or any other year.

Three perspicacious pundits who were willing, and certainly able,to discuss the 'whole sport' and not just issues relating to 'elite' clubs in Super League.

I would like to think their zeal for the sport imbues all the viewers - and it is a shame that only rugby league followers will view the programme when it would certainly be suitable to give to potential sponsors, businesses, lapsed supporters and followers of other sports,as I don't think any other sport has had such a varied, interesting, and enthusiastic discussion about any other sport.

Certainly the case that the 2 head coaches have served their apprenticeship.Their stock has certainly risen after that.

Well done,all.Certainly raised my spirits.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.
