One at a time boys, one at a time...!!!

Sat watching your lot in a bar in France. Thought nick had scored 1st try but it was disallowed

sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward

Yet again another epic battle and with a bit more composure would have won,no disgrace against a full time club who are 2nd fav for promotion to S.L. 1-17 once again gave it there all even when down to 12 men,we could have shipped in a couple of tries but in stead we took the lead, just shows what our boys are made off, given the amount of first team players out of the side Fordy can be well proud  of the lads, oh so close lads, chins up well proud of you boy,s we will do'em at home .

Proud of the MIGHTY kNEETS

Brilliant effort, really proud of em as ever!

I think we should stop thinking in terms of "first team" players, we don't have a first team and the rest, we have York Knights, whoever pulls on that shirt is a our team full stop!

Set off Friday York to Manchester to Carcassonne. Got to our digs about 6pm had my first pint about 7. Didnt know what to drink so settled for a large Judas. Turns out its 8.3% !! Only had one! Went on the Kilkenny after that. We couldnt be bothered to walk far so we only went in the 2 so called Irish bars...twice. Prefered The Celt to O'Sheridans. Good fish n chips.Bed. Up for brekky in Chez Felix, omelette being the order of the day. Train to Toulouse about 10.30am. Blagged 1st class on double decker train by accident honest. Really put our rail system to shame.Public bus outside station to Blagnac, meeting some French friends of a friend. To said friends house for pre-match food and drinks. Great welcome by these people who then gave us a lift to the stadium passing by The Toucan where gave all our fellow Yorkies a beep. Got to the stadium where we were given free tickets and hospitality bands for champagne and snacks, this was unreal. Watched the first half opposite where most York fans were but went accross to the other side at half time.  2nd part of this trip to follow later.

So second half the Yorkies get louder and louder. Stewards tried telling a few to stop banging the pitch boardings to no avail. To be fair they were actually laughing along with them.Thought it was a great game from both sides and was great that both teams got plenty of applause at the end. Had chat with JF and a couple of the players afterwards then a lift to a bar near Toulouse station. We say Oh!Rayvwah to our new French amis and once again have a brill train journey back to Carcassonne. Saturday night was a bit of a blur but we all got some kip before our walk around the medieval city and walls that reminds us of Winterfell ala Game of Thrones. The rest of Carcassonne goes to sleep on a sunday so we have a marathon sesh in The Celt. Monday bite to eat in the town square and bus to airport about 2.30pm. Back in York about 8.30pm. Overall an excellent trip. Proud of our players, fans and club as a whole. Just want to do it again now.

Left York Friday started drinking. Left Carcassonne Monday finished drinking. The bit in between is a bit of a blur?

Wait until you get to Northern Maverick/3 Brewers/Lamport Beergarden in August....
