I would be surprised if we keep them under 50 to be honest.

Would be nice to see you actually get behind the lads, are you Bradford in disguise?

Halifax, Hull Kingston Rovers, Workington Town, Salford Red Devils, York City Knights, Featherstone Rovers, Doncaster Goldfish & Dewsbury Rams (Just so we don't have to see Thatto Again on TV this year)

Got the first two, now for the other 6, never thought I would ever say this, but come on the Town.

Entry to the Thatto Heath v Dewsbury game is a £5 adults, £2 concessions. Kick Off 3pm Sunday

Need to get as many people through the gate as possible as we have had to guarantee Dewsbury an amount to get them to agree to let us keep the prices to the same level as we did for the last game and not too much above what we charge for a league match.

Great performance by Fax considering they were missing 8 players who would all have been in the starting 17.

However it gave opportunities to the reserve players and which they certainly took.

It just shows the benefit of having a reserve team and I can't understand how other clubs cannot see this.

The only downside of the night was the attendance.Gates are bad enough in general at the moment, but when you add Challenge Cup and Thursday night into the mix it is a recipe for disaster.

Enjoyable match at New Craven Park , again a bit of composure and better game management would have seen a Leigh win , most ' Robins ' post match were saying the best team lost on the night , still at least we are now out , hopefully get out of the silly cup as well

Believe Fax wanted Thursday, so they had more time to recover/prepare for Bradford Home on Good Friday and Toulouse away Easter Monday (Crazy fixture list).

Best fifty quid I have spent. ?

Really not sure where a performance like that came from to be honest. So many experienced players missing and players who we have called to get chance have come in and taken it. If anything this season its been painfully obvious we have been out enthused by teams, especially against York, but last night was the other way round and you will always get that when you give young lads a chance. It was really the kind of performance we were used to last season and what we expected this season so hopefully this can go on and kick start our season now.

Ive got behind the lads for the last 30 odd years, home and away only missing a handful of games. If we play ###### Im going to say we played ######, if we play well I will say we played well. That was the best performance of the season by some distance. Its the old snowflake generation thing where you have to say well done even when it wasn't or blow smoke up peoples ***** just for the sake of it. Not enough people saying it like it is just leads to people in comfort zones and a load of mediocracy.

I saw this on social media this week, a fantast6 gesture and I hope you get the huge crowd you deserve. If it helps I've convinced 2 mates from widnes to go to the match.

It is barmy, true enough and it's unfortunate Fax felt they needed to, effectively, throw away the (I'm sure much needed) money from a normal weekend fixture to prepare for the Easter games. Strangely, the Bulls are playing on Sunday afternoon before the Good Friday game so they needn't really have bothered. To be honest, I don't really think the timing of this weekends game will have a significant effect; Sun to Friday or Friday to Sun is a perfectly normal sort of turnaround in SL every week. Agreed, it would be better if they didn't feel they needed to do it, but it is done by choice not necessity

Excellent value and with a train from Dews at half 12 getting into Thatto for half 2 I can do morning service and make the game comfortably. Any decent watering holes close to the ground or does the clubhouse serve decent ale (I.e. hand pumps)?

Don’t think the club has any hand pull ales. Between Thatto Heath station and the clubhouse there are The Springfield (adjacent to the station), The Vine and The Elephant (both on Elephant Lane). It’s been a while since I’ve been in any of those but don’t think they do either. Best bet would be the Brown Edge or the York but they are both heading away from the ground and again I couldn’t be sure they have any.

It made sense to be honest. The recovery time between playing a full time team and playing a part time team is quite different and the extra 3 days rest could be massive for us. If we had been playing a championship team Im not sure we would have been in the same rush to move the game. Regarding money I wouldnt have expected more than 1k supporters on a Sunday for that game so I would hope the club could afford to stand the 1-2k it may have cost.

Maybe for a Fulltime team like Bradford (and SL Teams), a 5 day turn around recovery is OK. But Part time teams players have to work and playing Friday dont have much time to train. Playing Thursday allows Fax to Train over the weekend. And also have the luxury of having time to properly recovery. Fax have already a number of players carrying injuries that were rested like Grix, Murrell, Fairbank, Sharp. No doubt others too. The more rest time they get the better.

Its not as if London would bring any more on a Sunday than Thursday. And Cup games dont get crowds anyway sadly. I doubt the game lost that much money anyway.

Not nowadays, really  unfortunate for the game... Hull KR v Leigh Challenge Cup Round 2 1982 - att 12,034  - Hull KR v Leigh 2019 Challenge Cup Round 5 (!!) - att   2000....

Massive drop off in total crowds and income across the game in any measure.

Bradford are not a full time team.  There are players on full time contracts and ones that are semi-pro.

Forever in our shadow, forever on your mind.

seems like a very controversial disallowed try robbed Leigh from joining Fax in the bag, in goal gave it then ref over ruled him, player adamant he scored - cant wait for LCTV to be uploaded.

Us having 3 less days recovery probably cost us the win last night , HKR had a Thursday-Thursday , we had a Sunday-Thursday , we were running on empty for the last 10 minutes

But as you point out , we now get an 8 day recovery before Widnes next Friday
