Let's assume, as you've provided no evidence, that her opinions have not changed.

When you provide evidence then we can revise our opinions of her.

It doesn't mater how repulsive their views are on anything, support for the IRA, blatant antisemitism,  excusing paedophilia it is all trumped by their support of their team, team brexit. That's all that matters.

Article written 08/03/2006. Maybe she has 'been on a journey' like Mr Corbyn and sees things differently?

In many ways, Brexit Party supporters are no different to Corbyn supporters.

Their willingness to turn a blind eye to pretty much anything that doesn't fit their own narrative is breathtaking.

Well, obviously.

We know that Brexit Party supporters will vote for people who excuse ethnic cleansing, predatory paedophiles, terrorists and all manner of vulture disaster capitalists … because that is literally what they tell us they are doing.

There was a heated discussion about it because it's a right wing piece of **** about a kid who had to hide from the Nazis to survive. Referencing it in passing perpetuates the myth.

No, it wasnt a myth. There was evidence to discuss collaboration. A book written by his father which if I remember you hadn't read. There was also an interview in which Soros himself made reference to it.

Yes he was 14 but he was a very exceptional 14 year old at the time who had many of the characteristics he has now.

Its not an argument for this thread but it was relevant to a previous post.

Absolutely. This is the state of the current political system.

There will be many, many people voting for the Brexit Party out of sheer frustration at the inability of the main parties to deliver on previous promises. I am one of those people. I will be hoping the established parties take a good kicking and then wake up to see why their traditional supporters have left them in their thousands and do something about it.

Who is a predatory paedophile?

I'm sorry but to me, voting for people like Corbyn or Farage and their hangers on as a 'protest' is like taking a dump on someone's carpet because you don't like the pattern.

Soros is disliked by many Jewish people. There are discussions about collaboration in the war. (There was a heated discussion about this before so I only bring it up to show that criticism of him is not necessarily anti Semitic).

He has also fermented unrest in Turkey and upset Muslim leaders there. He tried to agitate unrest in Istanbul and whilst I arent an Akp fan, I don't think it is helpful and causes more instability.

He was born in 1930.

Why do you think there are lots of stories about him being evil? Particularly from the far right?

As you are clearly impeded in this, you are falling for self-evident propaganda. Which is strange because usually only stupid people who think they are smart would be gullible in this way.

So he should have passively trudged off to the gas chambers then; the only alternative?

The original story was he was an active and senior nazi through the war.  It was changed when people doubted that was true of a nine year old.

We each have our own way of protesting, this is my way. I hope that when the Brexit Party 'wins' these elections the powers that be might wake up and smell the coffee.

Some people really need a punt to the nuts.  Or quite a few punts to the nuts.

You're just the sort of person who would vote in Hitler because of his promises to restore German pride and status.

Just a note... we're not going to remove this but we will remove the other variants of this with stronger sweary words that I've seen on t'interweb this morning.  Especially the one about Farage and his horse.

Mmmmm. Wrong era, wrong country, wrong elections. Not a very mature post.

Why? Didn't he use exactly the same rhetoric in convincing the nation to vote for him and his party?  He persuaded Germany to give him a blank cheque based on a perceived injustice done to the country.  Farage is trying to persuade you to give him a blank cheque given he won't release the manifesto until after the election and it's based on incoherent injustices done to this country by foreigners.

My view stands.

These are EU elections, not national ones.

No one's vote will directly get Mr Farage elected as leader of the UK.

I have said that my vote is a protest, my way of protesting in preference to not voting or spoiling my paper.

Comparing people who will be voting for the Brexit Party as ones who would have voted for Hitler is not a mature post or point of debate.

My view stands.

It won't change the arithmetic in the House of Commons.

It won't make impossible things possible.

I could have a lucrative career in the USA as a creation scientist.  I have the accent, relevant Phd, relaxed in confrontations and in front of the cameras.

I could make a fortune and gain a following amongst people who believe in creationism.  The ludicrous thing is Brexit Party voters would think those that supported me were gullible and stupid.

It might bring about a change in leadership and focus minds on delivering what has been promised.

What do you think Theresa May has been trying to do for the past 3 years???

As I said, it won't make the impossible suddenly possible, it'll just result in a bunch of largely repellent individuals gaining well-salaried roles in an organisation they claim to despise. And whatever they say or do, you'll be accountable for it because you helped put them there.

What particular 'flavour' of Brexit would suit Brexit Party voters anyway?

A point made, in a different context, by the Irish Deputy PM on the radio this morning. Nick Robinson was trying to steer on whether a different British Prime Minister would get a different result with the EU and the response, rather blunt but undeniable was, "personalities don't matter, you can't change the realities".

I, and plenty of others on here, have been saying that for almost 3 years, yet here we are still needing to challenge brexit supporters still dreaming of their own personal unicorn because swapping out T May for A.N. Other somehow makes reality go away.

You tell me what Mrs May has been doing for the last 3 years. I am no supporter of hers.

It's not really a protest though is it? You are voting for something, and that something is a bunch of people with mainly some pretty repellent views. That makes you a supporter of those views by proxy whether you like it or not. Why? Because post election Farage et al will use the number of votes they receive to legitimise their views.
