Sharks v Panthers at Pointsbet Stadium (7.50pm)

— The Panthers have won just two of their past six games, with five of these six games decided by eight points or less. They have only scored over 20 points once in the past six games (last week’s 30-24 loss to the Titans).

— Both the Panthers and the Sharks have the worst completion rate in the NRL, with the Sharks ranked 15th (69% per game) and the Panthers 16th (67%).

— After becoming the most-capped Sharks player of all time against the Cowboys, Paul Gallen will play his 330th match this week, equalling Eels legend Nathan Hindmarsh as the 10th most capped player of all-time.

— James Maloney is five points away from becoming the 11th player in premiership history to score 1800 career points. He played 45 games for the Sharks in 2016 and 2017, including helping the Cronulla side win its first premiership in 2016. Maloney leads the league with 14 forced dropouts.

Looking good. Real or artists’ impression after a long drinking session?

They had an open night training session this week and I think at least some of the photos are from there. We'll find out on Monday because it's a 4pm game so they'll turn the lights on in the second half. We'll get both day and night variations.
