in the context of things at the moment,i think the win today was absolutely superb.i would have taken that result all day before the game.

i nearly enjoyed it more than friday night to be honest ?....make no mistake Swinton are no mugs and played some good spirited stuff.we looked out on our feet halfway through the 2nd half but managed to show a bit of composure to finish them off.

well done and thanks to all the players and staff for an entertaining weekend.

Take that, even though we tried hard to give it up from 24-6. 3 league wins on the bounce now, confidence will be up and don't  see any problem in beating Leigh next at home and who'd have said that 3 weeks ago??

They never looked like scoring in the first half really and we did look a tad fatigued, which is understandable, Scot missing a few conversions added to the tension but we finished strongly. Swinton were certainly a much better team than last season

You're like a seesaw PD.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

I think the assessments are correct - you did enough in the second half and we panicked and missed some tackles - hopefully we can beat you in the return. Apart from the result and the injury to Fairclough it was a nice day out - always enjoy going to Batley - just not seen Swinton win there for ages ?

What a try. There were plenty of people raving about the one York scored in the YC, the one in the video above was every bit as good IMO. It beggars belief that some still think we don't play any football.
