A great opener, which (we hope) sets the mood for the whole weekend.

Langi is turning into a powerful stand off and what an engine.

I think he is underrated. Very good player.

  • Thanks 1

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Worth waiting for, considering how his French career started.

Who should be dropped next week to make way for the return of Sam Tomkins in the Challenge Cup game against Hull FC?

(a) Matty Smith,

(b) Samisoni Langi

(c) Lewis Tierney (if Langi is moved to centre and Mead to the wing)?

I would say that form dictates  (a), but that does not guarantee that Steve McNamara will do it.

Gigot converts after the hooter.

Wakefield 18-25 Catalans FT.

Deserved win for Catalans. Wakey played well for 20 mins or so after half-time but second best overall.

Catalans will make the GF, I’m telling you.

I'm beginning to believe they will too. They have beaten Saints this year and can get up for big games.

Theres some size in the backs now and skill in the forwards. Williame is a top player and Langi is playing out of his skin lately.

Consider Les Dracs missing Micky Mac and Tomkins and managed to pull this one out of the fire. They really have got more steel and commitment about them.

Gigot was immense. Garcia had a very good game. All points scored by French players too.

Big cup game next week, hopefully back on the way to Wembley!

Discipline is massive for Catalans once their heads go the games gone.
