I couldn't understand why he was taken off so quickly after coming on but someone else suggested that it was a "green card", in other words an injury that needed attending to. The fact that he came on again after five minutes suggests that might be the case.

Otherwise it seems to be a complete waste of a substitute spot if he is going to be used so sparingly when someone else might make a real impact.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

You might be right BSJ but we didn't see him until around 70 minutes anyway.  Cant see any point picking him if he's not getting game time.  just leaves the other forwards with a little less energy late on and you never know.   Tiredness might just mean that you can let in late tries...Not that that ever happens to us!!!
