Leigh 52 Workington 12

Oldham 6 Doncaster 22

York 24 Newcastle 10

All latest scores.

Thanks, JonM.  Did these turn out to be the final scores?

I forget how this competition is structured; what happens next?

The York game finished 30-16, crowd 797. Newcastle competed well and took the lead, a big side with some good players, like their season they struggled to perform consistently otherwise it could've been closer. York will be pleased with the result, potential banana skin which they never looked like losing.

Just put BBC RL results on, nothing on this comp, can't really understand why, after all they really do well at producing the games they televise.

I would assume it's because the RFL are not giving them the fixtures or results.

Well its no point venting our anger at the BBC,  now 20:14 hours Sundy 2nd June, no results on from Today's fuxtures on the RFL website, what a shower of she-ite they are!

Latest scores and FT scores were on the BBC RL page on the tele in the afternoon but not on the website on the phone.

Looks like the Bulls are sending their academy and juniors to Barrow on Wednesday. John Kear has made a statement that none of the squad from yesterdays game will be playing. With another 7 players injured anybody with a pair of boots might get a game on Wednesday.

Batley will be happy about that they play them next Sunday Odsal

Bulls have named an 18 man squad for the Barrow game, with none of the players who played yesterday. A mix of fringe players and Under 19s - expect to see a Barrow win, probably a heavy one.

Don't worry Harry Stottle, the team against Batley will be very similar to that against Halifax yesterday ? One or two from the Barrow game might force their way into contention, but it will only really be to cover any injuries.

TL:DR We aren't taking the 1895 Cup all that seriously!
