Featherstone should have beaten them at home, winning with 4 minutes left and were in to score again, but the ball was bounced. Get that and we win. So yes, Toronto are a good side, but definitely beatable.

If my auntie had balls...

Did they beat London last season in the game that counted? If you watched the Swinton game yesterday then that team would be lucky to win a game in S.L. Sure they will have the money to spend big but remember they will still have to be on or under the salary cap.

The cuckoo land is not Canada (read the press).  The Wolfpack is clearly mid table SL right now...a couple of changes and they would be at the top of the table.

Yeah, New coach and 17 New players you could beat anyone. !!

London beat us fair and square...over here in NA we don't make excuses for a loss or try to blame the ref like you folk over there.

Swinton played a great game and deserve congratulations...they have a fine looking young team who gave it their all and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Toronto is in cruise mode and the coach has them right where they need to be at this point in the season....just look at the table...I think they are 15 and 1 right now.

The off field antics have hurt the club but we will recover and come back stronger than ever...we have our eyes focused on the prize like a laser beam....nothing can stop us!

Anybody who thinks this seasons Toronto team is good enough for S.L. is living in cuckoo land.If they finally reach S.L. this season they will need at least 10 new players to compete. Sims, Sidwell, Dixon, Wilkins ,Rawtenstall, O,Brien amongst others have had their time in S.L. and none of them were actually world beaters then.I would expect McDermott to have a big clear out if they managed promotion which is in no way guaranteed, they were nailed on certainties last season remember.I personally think Featherstone will be the one for promotion but will they be welcomed,I think not, and no,I am not a Fev. supporter

Wilkins ? Do you mean Jon Wilkin if so I think he's just about won everything in the game, top 2nd row in his day.

Jacko, Yes,sorry for the mis spelling. You are quite correct John Wilkin has been a superb player and quite rightly he has won every honour in the game, but unfortunately he is now way past his best and is now Championship material. I do not know him but he seems to be a very knowledgeable guy and would make a good coach or could certainly make a living as a T.V. pundit.

Toronto Woolfpack sounds like a tribute band!

"The history of the world is the history of the triumph of the heartless over the mindless." — Sir Humphrey Appleby.

"If someone doesn't value evidence, what evidence are you going to provide to prove that they should value it? If someone doesn't value logic, what logical argument could you provide to show the importance of logic?" — Sam Harris

Salery Cap? Don't forget if they cancel a players contract they still owe the monies to those player's and the payments are deemed as counting on the cap.

he would have been a useful Leeds signing for one season to provide a degree of leadership and on field analysis of the game situation... he had a reasonably good stint at Saints last year...

He is doing very well at Toronto although he has lost a step or two.....seems to be enjoying himself near the end of his career...nice to see.

I think it’s okay to use the word Nazi when we’re jesting about pedantry.   After all, the context of its use is making fun of the right wing extremists.

Unless of course Hitler was set on a path of Genocidal Megalomania after endless hours correcting internet posters on their grammar and spelling.   I’d have to watch a few episodes of the History Channel to check, as I didn’t pay as much attention as I should have at school.... ?

Is it just me that read that post about 15 times trying to find an obvious mistake?? :kolobok_ph34r:

BTW what actually sent Hitler off on one was a debate with Goering, Himmler and Goebbels' about whether his opinions were racist, offensive or just misunderstood! :kolobok_ph34r: (spoiler... it turns out they were all a little bit racist.. and anti semitic)

Rugby league is a cheap sport to attain success from nothing. £2m a year virtually guarantees Super League

Just shows you how far you can get if you have a billionaire owner with questionable attitudes.

is that a one off cheap shot or do you specialise?

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.
