Damien Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 I am glad that the club is presumably taking a harder line on these misdemeanors but the cynic in me can't help but think it depends on the quality of player involved. Tautai has never really excelled in a Wigan jersey and been very average so is no loss. It's a pity though because he is a lovely person off the field and would be the last person you'd expect to be caught. However you have to face the consequences of your actions. We can’t sack Hamlin yet as the UKAD investigation is working its way through the system. Hardaker was not on our books when he (yet again) messed up. Joel was let go. Apart from Bateman, who didn't leave, every one of those players was bang average and/or the club saw it as a great excuse to get rid and free up space, like Tomkins.
