See Keighley have appointmented the one and only Phil Larder to assist their new manager.

Scared the bejesus out of me at school, and I was a titch who got flattened every time.

Comfortable win but didn't play particularity well again. Langtree excellent in the first half again and Aaronson looks a very good prospect. Has plenty of pace but also enjoys the tough carries coming out of our own line. Would look to extend that loan as soon as we can. Gregson had a  promising start that was curtailed by a couple of head knocks. He looked very strong with very good footwork.

Defensively we looked a lot better until the last second when Langers and McComb shot out of the line but apart from that the defence was very good.

Keighley were very poor. They must have had 70% possession in the second half and barely looked like breaking a tackle.

Got to get Brook in at half back. Hewitt just provides absolutely nothing now whilst Crook has come in and been quite good and his kicking has been excellent. Start Wilkinson at hooker with Owen/Greenwood on the bench only coming on when Wilky is knackered. Need Joy back ASAP with Gwaze missing for a while it seems.

Keighleys official Facebook page reckon they were the better side ?. Not massively convincing but a much needed win, our confidence looked shot early doors but grew into it today and got the job done. Huge test at Town next week.

Crooky was excellent , the try saving tackle was immense. Hewitt gets bagged every week on here, no wonder his confidence seems low, we don't exactly showcase the half backs with our style of play, we could play Cooper Cronk at 7 and he would look sheeite. Gwaze needs time to develop, he is not ready even at our level and offers little so not a loss for me. We desperately need to get Nelmesy back in the fold, we are lacking fire in the front row. Law is bang average and a bit of a penalty machine.

Overall rating today against a very poor Keighley side is 6/10 for me. Job done but improvement needed for the trip to Borough Park next week.
