I would not be in the slightest bit surprised if this happens.

And if this is to happen then I think the ONLY way to do it is to say no relegation from the Championship and promote the top two from Championship 1 assuming they meet the relevant criteria.This would give Rochdale Hornets who right now look certain to go down a reprieve along with any one from Barrow,Dewsbury,Widnes,Swinton And Batley a reprieve as well.The way it happened last season was frankly farcical as the play off game,Swinton v Workington,the latter struggled numbers wise in the squad as they assumed by then the season was over and players had their holidays etc booked.And this farce must never happen again.
