Unfortunately the release of Harry but the signing of Ben shows the club is going through the natural evolution in improving it's player rosta in order to maintain and improve its position within the championship.

Yes it is sad to see lad locals who have given their all for years to go, but they are sports person and will understand the position that the club is in.

Think there will be a few more from last season moving on, either to another club or calling it a day, the days of signing players for life have long gone.

If we can afford to let someone like Harry go it shows how high we're aiming because I've always admired him. Good impact player but may be a tad injury prone?

At least Harry had the sense not to sign for Hunslet, hes far too good for them  hope he does well at Donny.

I think you are right SL. Think it has been confirmed that we have four new signings to date and possibly more to come. Harry is the first to be confirmed as moving on.

2020 Squad upto now, Jack Teanby, Jason Bass, Connor Robinson, Mat Chilton, Sam Scot, Joe Porter, Kriss Brining, Danny Washbrook, Chris Clarkson, James Green, Matty Marsh, Perry Whiteley, Ben Johnson. Ash Robson has signed for 2021.

Surely there will be a major signing on Saturday night at the gala do. There normally is.

Yeah, I remember once the anticipation of a major signing to be announced at the end of year dinner and we announced George Raynor from Hunslet. ?

Nope. The Gala dinner is about celebrating the 2019 squads (mens and ladies) and their achievements.

Having said that there will be another 2020 player announcement in the paper in Saturday!

(And maybe one more before then...) ?

This is one i know little about scored a good try against us on his last game for Fax so i hope he can a force for the Knights well come aboard  Will.

Sharp will be the better signing of the two you have got from us. He is 100% each game and won't let you down, beats the first player most of the time and is good defensively and great under the high ball. Johnston will produce good bits of individual skill for you and has a really good short kicking game, probably his shortcomings are not have a long kicking game which can put more pressure on your main kicker and also he is a more off the cuff type of player which can be great but can also make it hard to follow the game plan. I would say his best asset is his defence for his size is really good, but then again who wants a half back who's best asset is his defence. He won't let you down though.
