olray
Disappointing result today . I think a change in coach should of happened months ago . Looks like we are relegated now which simply isn’t good enough
Michael Ashton
Only evidence is based on seasons league table. As a true supporter you've got to be optimistic but it hurts after all these hopes.
Michael Ashton
There seems to be just 3 or 4 readers of this Forum who seem to be rattling on about changing the coach. It was different when werhad some good results and performances only a few weeks ago.

Agreed Michael there seems to be an agenda from a few so called fans .Not sure why don’t we all want to stay in the championship?
ernieone
It seems my team (Batley) Will be competing with you to avoid the remaining dreaded next to the bottom of the league spot. We have a number of important matches we need to win ie Dewsbury at home, Rochdale and yourselves away, Barrow being as you will know the last match of the season. I personally hope we both survive in this division i enjoy my trips up to Cumbria. Batley are capable of winning more matches but like yourselves there is no consistency in performances week to week so best of luck unless it is as last match of the season shoot out. 1950s Gallant Youth, 2000 Bulldog
Crown Flatter
On 07/07/2019 at 16:56, NWDuk said: My predictions: Dewsbury's remaining games: Sheffield (A) Defeat Halifax (H) Defeat Rochdale (A) Win Featherstone (H) Defeat Batley (A). Draw Bradford (H). Defeat Toulouse (A). Defeat Widnes (H) Win Total: 16 points Barrow's remaining games: Leigh Centurions (H) Win Swinton Lions (A). Defeat York City Knights (H). Win Bradford Bulls (H). Defeat Sheffield (A). Defeat Toronto Wolfpack (A) Defeat Batley Bulldogs (H) Win Total: 15 points We need to win whatever they do plus one more game to bring it to points difference. Uphill task. Factoring in Batley’s remaining fixtures: York (H) Defeat Leigh (A) Defeat Rochdale (A) Win Dewsbury (H) Draw Toulouse (A) Defeat Featherstone (H) Defeat Barrow (A). Defeat Total: 15 points It could be really tight at the end if it goes the way I see it. Swinton play Bradford (H), Barrow (H), Leigh (A), Fev (A), Halifax (H) Widnes (A) and Sheffield (H), so it isn’t all plain sailing for them either. Din’t give up hope. Legs, Dews, Legs. Bring back GB
I really fear for the club if we get relegated. Lots of talk of League One being cast adrift in the not too distant future. Probably the worst possible time to go down.
Michael Ashton
I agree. I fear for the future. Ottowa are coming in next year but will it be Ch or Ch1. If Ch surely only one club will go down. Am I dreaming or is this possible.
Michael Ashton
I like your confidence NWDuk and Crown Flatter but this is how the matches should pan. In theory Swinton don't seem to have any further victories. On this theory I think the finish positions would be Dewsbury 16 Barrow 15 Batley 15 Swinton 14 This seems very, very close. Everything seems to hinge round Batley v Dewsbury, Swinton v Barrow, Barrow v Batley I'm sure my figures are way out but it gives me some optimism for Barrow. Lion heart 59
Everybody entitled to their opinion, but we’ve just won 5 out of our last 7 games , including Toulouse away , personally I think all our three remaining home games are winnable , we are looking up not down

wayne_r
I also think it will be tight and as a Swinton supporter I think we are now capable of winning all of our three remaining home games , may even shock someone in our away fixtures and if Sheffield (our last home game) drift further down the table - they may not be that interested - although Sheffield have always been a bogey team for us ( I think). Its a shame that any of our clubs will end being relegated and for the neutrals the battle to stay up is more exciting that who gets into Super League.
