AB Knight
This will be another tough game. We should be going full of confidence, 4 match winning run, nearly beat them in the 1664 cup with a lot of first teamers rested. Won’t be easy, it never is up there and there’s been little between the clubs in the 3 meetings this season however we have won 14, Batley just 6. There’s a great chance to get in the playoffs now and it’s a crucial game. Hope we get there in numbers and get in the covered stand behind the sticks, was a good atmosphere there back in January. spanishknight
The hard games are coming thick and fast, the good thing is we now have just about every player fit, pity about Benny retiring we could do with him.

Haven't missed Benny so much in recent weeks, I think Connor and Liam have dovetailed brilliantly. He's taken the pressure off Connor to do everything himself. A squad with no real Superstars, which in turn makes them all just that.

The vocal Batley fans for some reason prefer to stand to the side of one of the touch line stands near the try line leaving this stand free. Appreciate some York fans prefer/need to sit but if as many of us as poss can go behind the sticks (like at Sheffield 2nd half) it will be much better than being all spread out

spanishknight
Would you play up the slope first half or down it?, if you play up it first half do you score as many points then try and keep them out second or try to stop them scoring first half then hope they are tired out second half and try to over run them.
