I think this guys approach is misunderstood.  Sure, he appears mean and moody but his disciplinary record is good and he regularly plays 80 minutes for the Eels.

After starting on the bench for few games this year he’s been ever present in the pack.  His stats are impressive week on week. Teams need these aggressive, no nonesense, team oriented players and I think he’ll be great for the club.

Watched Ma'u play last week and was very impressed. He looks like the ideal replacement for Sika Manu to me. He's got a great engine, carries the ball strongly, hits hard in defence and is one of the best old school leg tacklers I've seen for some time.

Manu Ma'u one of five candidates for NRL second row of the year (alongside John Bateman and Sam Burgess).

Seems like he is coming to FC right at the top of his game.

Thanks, I was wondering when I'd get a chance to read it!

I'll let Matt Shaw know when he's finished rummaging through the bins for his dinner because we couldn't afford to pay him... ?
