Both Town and Haven had the opportunity over the years to operate there own scholarship programmes, very sad.

Very true and they were both successful in their time. Shame they no longer exist, same with service area camps etc.

Great Result. thought the boys really bonded as a team yesterday and it ended in a great result

Awful comments from a town fan regarding Jamie Doran " get some of that weight off Jamma "

Would love to see them pull that shirt on and run on that field for a full 80minutes. Idiots

Up the town

Great performance from the boys yesterday , really dug in to get the points.................Worst referee we have seen for many a year .Same player gave pens away 3 times in the first 20 mins high tackling Tyllar and still remained on the pitch . That set the scene for the rest of the match , lots of high tackles and niggle , Ref should have stamped down earlier on and we wouldn`t have had to put up with some of Skolars gamesmanship . Typical we were the ones who had a man sent off , and as usual were the only Team penalised all day for offside .Let`s hope he never Refs up here again .

Apparently he is a favoured son of the RFL and is tipped for rapid advancement through the refereeing ranks!  Gulp!?

Remember guys like Ashley Klein , James Child , Mr Cobb etc ... they all created havoc , I mean learnt their trade in places like here , and went to the top . I always think it says more about the number of refs they have than their talent

Not sure you could say the scholarships were successful, especially with some of the individuals they had involved, but the service areas yes.
