It’s also unfair that some teams had Saints as their loop fixture so play us three times. We also have to play Leeds the week before Wembley if we get to the final - a double whammy for HKR?

Hull kr or anyone else shouldn’t be relying on Saints beating teams to keep them in Super League, it’s every clubs responsibility to win enough games, bottom team goes down, simple as that.

Looks like we're resting nine altogether...

5. Regan Grace, 7. Danny Richardson, 12. Joseph Paulo, 13. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook 15. Morgan Knowles, 16. Kyle Amor, 17. Dom Peyroux, 18, Adam Swift, 19. Matty Lees, 20. Jack Ashworth, 21. Aaron Smith, 22. James Bentley, 24. Matty Costello, 25. Joe Batchelor, 27. Josh Eaves, 28. Callum Hazzard, 29. Jack Welsby, 30. Josh Simm, 31. Lewis Dodd

Average age of 23 ish so there's still some decent experience in there, particularly in the forwards if Peyroux and Paulo make it. Looking forward to seeing what Simm and Dodd are capable of in particular, plus another appearance for Welsby.

That's still a pretty strong looking line up to be fair

That squad still has plenty enough to beat London but london will obviously as always be up for the scrap. They just need to switch on in the first half as this has been their downfall far too often.

Av age of London is 25 so not much in it age/experience wise.

6 – Jordan Abdull
13 – Sadiq Adebiyi
8 – Eddie Battye
23 – Robert Butler
7 – James Cunningham
26 – Sam Davis
5 – Kieran Dixon
17 – Matt Fleming
14 – Matty Fozard
16 – Matt Gee
3 – Ben Hellewell
10 – Mark Ioane
4 – Elliot Kear
30 – Olsi Krasniqi
12 – Jay Pitts
15 – Greg Richards
1 – Alex Walker
2 – Rhys Williams
20 – Luke Yates

Hopefully Welsby is just as bad as last time! ?

If we get to the Final!

Are you resting players against Halifax as well then?

Rest 3 or 4 key players against London, fine. Thats team management.

Any more and you are bringing the game into disrepute.

Dumb, but I'll sail this ship alone.

4 is fine, why not 5? 6? Saints should do what’s best for Saints. Why should they risk players on an artificial turf?  It’s the luck of the draw that London may benefit.

I don't understand why it's disappointing, Saints have earned the right to do this. It's Holbrook's job to do what is best for Saints, and if that means resting players which then works against Hull Kr or Leeds, then so be it.

I'm obviously mostly happy about the resting of players

However, I'd quite like to see Roby, Makinson et Al in action..... If they travel anyway we should get them drunk in the bar with us..... LAAAAHHHNDON LAAAAHNDON!!!

I'm not sure the pitch is the issue.  If memory serves we played a much stronger team when we last went to London.  I think there are just three we don't play on that surface (rested them when Widnes were in Superleague too), due to their injury history.  I imagine the reason for the changes is the Challenge Cup semi final and given where we are in the league, it would not have mattered who we were playing this weekend, we would send out the kind of team we have chosen for the London match.

Away from this board for a while and along with some risible trolling threads elsewhere there are unrealistic expectations on this one.

St Helens are the dominant team in the Super League, the only danger to them being complacency, as last year, where Castleford, Warrington, Wigan and the better version of Hull FC can all turn them over in a one-off game. St Helens s dominance has been built on a strong junior side some of whom are up against a Broncos outfit that simply has reverted to type in the last two games with appalling defence and a second half rally once the game has gone giving the scoreline respectability.

Remember if St Helens had streched their lead to 18-0 in the last game at Trailfinders, Broncos would not have come back from this. A depressing afternoon looms in store as every London game should be like a cup final from now on

In our own 10 metres we have been woeful at times. Walker has bottled at least 3 tackles in the last 2 games and dealing with bomb kicks has gone from a specialism to a nightmare

Look at the Saints 19, its not that bad really ! Look at Wigan on Thursday, they mixed in a lot of youth, albeit for different reasons, and looked head and shoulders better than the oppo. If Broncos go into this game like the last 3, we are in for a drubbing, regardless of youth.

Think saints are in for a fall, London are no mugs and the disrespect saints are showing them is great motivation.

I had a very good win on Friday when the bookies were miles off in their handicap. The same applies for this game. I would take London to win off scratch but the 6 points start they are getting is very generous

Saints look really ordinary shorn of their stars. Broncos haven’t really played that well but have capitalised on Saints errrors/penalties.

LMS binned on the stroke of half time for dissent (I think)

LMS binned for dissent?  Never!  Actually, he's been a good boy for the last couple of years.  This sounds like retro LMS.  Must be returning to Laaandan wot's done it!

London 14-6 Saints Reserves 6 HT.

How many players do London have out, they had loads of injuries of their first XVII for a fair few matches, clubs will always have first XVII players on the sideline.

Your comment is disrespectful to say the least.
