Leigh sign Higson, Clarke and Sau for SL assault

Recommended Posts

Well if it all goes wrong again we can look forward to Leigh turning up with 13 players including a couple of amateurs like they did last season at Dewsbury. Return of Higson, so certainly will be an assault with at least cheap headshot per game.

You were spouting similar rubbish during Leigh's last imploding venture into SL.

You are very lucky to still have a club, maybe next time you won't.

Imploding. 2 dodgy calls in the 8's away from being established in SL whilst requiring no external input, so near etc. Do the maths, 1700 gates budgeted for cap used. 3200 actual and great sponsors/corporate means plenty still free to top up. TW look wobbly and it's rumoured the camp isn't a happy one, interesting to see what develops

Yes they look wobbly, they've won every single game bar one slip up against Toulouse this season.  Leigh are certainly going to wobble them ?

Why are you still talking about the 8s, you didn't even make them last season, remember?

Well I wonder who could have started such a rumour?...I figure it began about 34 minutes ago.

He has a point. Fev 6,7 and 9 missing. You seem to be failing in taking those advantages.? Basically you should be wiping the floor with them.

Don't read too much into that, TWP are in cruise control for the rest of the season. Don't fret, Brian McDermott is solely focussed on the play-offs.

And Featherstone beat Toronto last season, what's your point? It's a sport, not WWE, matches aren't supposed to be foregone conclusions.

It's the same as he did at Leeds, basically take a mid season break to build for the finals.

We'll see, your squad should be walking this league yet a lot of teams have pushed you very close and knock out RL wont see the best players not on the plane. McDermott is marmite, and that TW pack is very old.

ps I want to see you in SL but not at our expense.

We won the game!...Fev players manned up on the day and gave a great effort but went down in the end.  Congrats to Fev on the great effort put forth.

We are currently in first place by a comfortable margin!  Don't underestimate the Pack...hungry, very hungry.  " Hungry like the wolf."

P.S.  We want to get to SL and we already have racked up a considerable expense.

What was last years margin, didn't help then either.

If Toronto beat whatever's left of Widnes tomorrow they win the Championship League Leader's Shield with 5 rounds left to play.

They're going ok.

But it does not guarantee them winning the Championship Grand Final. They did not last season. Who ever finishes 2nd and 3rd are still in with a shout.

Whether a grand final is the right way to determine who goes up is a moot point however.

Leigh are rolling the dice on this. It is not just Toronto they have to get past. Winning in Toulouse will not be easy either, I fancy that Fev could also beat them in a one off play-off. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You are assuming Toulouse finish 2nd ?

But wouldn't that apply to any time finishing top? That is what a GF format is.
